The purpose of this organization is to increase the popularity of our common interests, which exists for the sole purpose of aiding and supporting Veterans, their wives, their widows and their orphans. We "Honor the Dead by helping the Living." We shall always remember that we were once America's fighting forces, dedicated to the principles which keep our country free, as do the today's uniformed young men and women who serve  around the globe in support of the same principles of FREEDOM we so dearly love.
The objects of the Veterans of Foreign Wars are fraternal, patriotic, historical, charitable, and educational: To preserve and strengthen COMRADESHIP among its members; to assist worthy comrades; to perpetuate the memory and history of our dead, and to assist their widows and orphans; to maintain true allegiance to the Government of the United States of America, and fidelity to its Constitution and laws; to foster true patriotism; to maintain and extend the institutions of American freedom; and to preserve and defend the United States from all her enemies, whomsoever.
There is a common bond that exists between the men and women who have shared military experience in battle. A shared sense of duty and a common belief in a cause higher than one's self. Our nations' veterans served in combat assuming all the risks associated with fighting for, and maintaining, our countries freedom. VFW members are here because they understand the true essence of America and its ideals and beliefs and the price they paid to be eligible to join the ranks of the VFW.
Our post meets monthly on the 4th Saturday of each month at 9:30 am at The Prescott Valley Elks Lodge. The lodge is located between the Peddlers Pass Flea Market and the Antelope Lanes Bowling Alley, one block south of Highway #69.
